Stove Window Mica
Mica is a silicate mineral that is mined from the earth that breaks off into sheets because of its chemical structure. The mica sheets are dense, resistant to heat and when used in stoves are about 1mm or less thick and this quality makes mica appropriate as a substitute for glass in stove windows.
Because of its chemical structure, mica windows can separate even further then the sheets our windows come in, so do not attempt to separate the layers, as this will compromise the sheet.

Great service
I order this fragile mica window and it showed up with in a week. If you are not familiar with mica . it is kind of like a thin clear window. So I was worried it would be broken when it arrived. It was fine. It was packaged very well and was exactly what I needed.
